I USED TO BE EMBARRASSED OF MY BODY... NOW I AM PROUD OF IT!
This week, I was reviewing a mother with 3 children who 6 months previously had undergone a breast augmentation along with a breast lift (an Augmentation/Mastopexy). When I asked her, what this had meant to her, she began to open up.
“I love me more,” she said. “I’ve always been a confident person, but previously it was more of a front. I am now more confident and I feel it deep down.”
She went on, “Previously, I was embarrassed about my body. Now I am proud of it and the things I am achieving. I know it is not perfect as I have had 3 kids, but I now feel very happy with myself. It has been a whole transformation.”
In a recent edition of New Weekly, it was reported Drew Barrymore, a mother of 2, “admits her post baby body has taken some getting used to. It’s hard to stay positive and love yourself,” she reveals. “You feel like a kangaroo with a giant pouch, everything’s saggy and weird.”
Drew Barrymore is struggling with the same thing many women struggle with; their post pregnancy body. Whether it be their tummy or breasts, pregnancy changes everything, resulting in bulges, droop and flabby bits that previously didn’t exist.
Thankfully, women have more choice nowadays which is why more and more are opting to invest in themselves and regain their post pregnancy bodies.
When they get what they want, they become more proud of their bodies, feeling more confident, feminine and sexy. Their partner benefits as do their children.
It is why I love doing what I do.
